OSSETT ALBION AFC home
Albion     5 - 2    Bridlington Town

A fairly even first half saw Bridlington make the most of their chances, although their first goal seemed to develop after a player used his hand to control the ball, and their second goal had a touch of off-side about it.
Albion didn't really create much until late on in the half when a diving header from Danny Toronczak could have put them back in the match but it went high over the bar instead.
The second half was an entirely different affair. Albion needed an early goal and Dave Dickinson obliged with a superb strike. From that moment the confidence came back into Albion's play and they looked a different team. Albion kept pressing and eventually the equaliser came through a scramble in the goalmouth after a dangerous cross and Sean Hazelden claimed the resulting goal. From the on Albion went from strength to strength while Bridlington looked totally shell-shocked. Two more goals from Dickinson and a final one from Toronczak set the seal on a tremendous second half performance from Albion. It was just a shame there were only 84 people there to witness it!
